Episode Guide- The Long Game

The Doctor, Rose and Adam land on Satellite Five, a news station orbiting Earth, the fourth great and bountiful human empire's centre. But something's wrong. The technology is about 90 years behind what it should be. Strangely enough, Satellite 5 started 91 years ago. The Doctor suspects trouble, so he and Rose investigate. Meanwhile, Adam has surgery which enables him to interface with Satellite 5's database. Eventually Rose and The Doctor get to floor 500- the top level, where walls are made of gold. But the walls aren't made of gold. They're made of ice. But what would need such a old environment? The mighty Jagrafess, the controller of Satellite 5. The Doctor and Rose are captured and Adam feeds the Jagrafess's slave, the editor, key information about the Doctor. When The Doctor and Rose finally escape with the help of Cathica, a station employee, the Doctor is fuming. Adam not only jeopardised the lives of Rose and the Doctor, he also transmitted information from the future to his house answer phone. The Doctor dropped him off at his house and left him there.
