When the doctor takes Rose to see her fathers death and be at his side when he dies. But Rose does something terribly wrong and stops her father from being hit by a car. With a man alive in the world that shouldn't be, aliens try to sterilise the wound in time. They kill everything in sight and stop the doctor from getting out from the time-zone. The Doctor, Rose, Jackie, Roses dad and other wedding guests hide inside a church. The aliens can't get into older buildings that easily. So immediatley the doctor tries to work out what to do. Meanwhile, Rose gets to know her dad. But the doctor is at a lost. The aliens break into the church and the only thing to protect the people is the doctor as he is the oldest thing there.

With the dotor dead, it seems the onlything to do is for Roses dad to step in front of the car and die. The doctor had already worked this out but had decided to keep quiet. Knowing this, Roses dad jumps out in front of the speeding car again and dies. The doctor s brought back to life and finally, Roses dad had someone there when he died.
